Driven by a deeply personal understanding of the strain poor financial decisions can place on a family, Bruce Blumberg has built a career founded on integrity and financial responsibility. Growing up in a high-cost area of New York, he witnessed these hardships firsthand, spurring his determination to help others avoid similar difficulties. This commitment led him to pursue a path of service and care, first through law, then through investment guidance and financial planning.
Bruce holds a Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Albany and a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in metropolitan New York before co-founding a business consulting and risk management firm, which he successfully grew to over 100 employees.
He transitioned to financial services when he was recruited by Merrill Lynch in 2002. Based in New York and later moving to Carmel, Indiana, his role was to collaborate with financial advisors on complex issues like lending, real estate, and tax strategy. This experience provided invaluable insight into a wide range of unique client situations, from political executives and celebrities to families impacted by major international events. Bruce later joined Wachovia Securities/Wells Fargo Advisors, where he served for eight years, including as the Indianapolis Complex Manager overseeing several branch offices.
In 2017, Bruce partnered with an outstanding money manager, growing their practice to become one of the firm's largest in Indianapolis. Following his partner's unexpected passing in 2021, Bruce established Blumberg Wealth Advisors. He affiliated with LPL Financial in 2022 to gain access to industry-leading technology and an open architecture investment platform, ensuring he can deliver personalized, client-first advice.
Today, Bruce channels decades of legal, business, and financial experience to help individuals and families build secure, flexible retirement strategies, plan charitable giving, and create lasting legacies. His approach blends technical knowledge with genuine empathy, serving clients in more than 30 states. He is an award-winning advisor, having been named to LPL's Director's Club in 2023 and Master’s Club in 2024 and 2025. Outside of the office, Bruce, his wife Susan, and their four daughters share their home with several rescue animals. He is an avid supporter of the Humane Society, performing arts, and the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
