Joseph’s (Joe) career in financial services began in 1994, when a desire for change led him from sports writing in Youngstown, Ohio, to a new professional path into the world of investing. After a conversation with a college friend working at Charles Schwab sparked his interest, Joe joined American Funds and later moved to Schwab, where he quickly became fascinated by the stock market and the many ways wealth can be built. His experience there, during the rise of the retail investing era, set the foundation for a long and rewarding career in financial operations. Five years later, he joined Oxford Financial Group, where he deepened his expertise serving high-net-worth clients with complex needs.
A graduate of Youngstown State University, Joe earned his Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Journalism while working nights at the Lisbon Morning Journal as a reporter. The interviewing and analytical skills he developed in journalism continue to guide his work today helping him ask insightful questions and understand clients’ true priorities beyond what is said on the surface.
Joe holds the General Securities Representative (Series 7), Series 66, and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) licenses through LPL. Known for his reliability and proactive approach, he prides himself on anticipating client needs and ensuring funding is delivered seamlessly. Ever the “operations guy,” Joe believes in mitigating risk and planning for contingencies to position success better.
Outside of work, he enjoys reading, attending concerts and museums, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.
