Selena’s interest in finance began while working at a small claims court, where she saw firsthand how financial challenges and misunderstandings could impact people’s lives. That experience inspired her to help others take control of their finances before they become a source of stress. Over time, that initial curiosity developed into a genuine passion for helping clients make confident, informed financial decisions.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Event Management from Indiana University, where she cultivated strong organizational and communication skills. Her early experience in the court system strengthened her analytical abilities and attention to detail—qualities that continue to serve her well in the financial industry. Over the past three years, Selena has developed a deep understanding of financial operations and enjoys continually expanding her knowledge and expertise.
What Selena finds most rewarding about her work is seeing the sense of relief and confidence that comes when clients have a clear, personalized financial plan. She values being part of a team that helps simplify complex decisions and brings greater confidence to clients and their families.
Outside of work, Selena enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, tackling DIY projects, staying active outdoors, and gardening. She is also fluent in American Sign Language, which allows her to connect with and support members of the Deaf community.
